"Envelope Cards"

These are so awesome! I can use 

them for any occasion .

They are all 4 1/2" X 5 1/2"

The colors are coordinated with 

Stripes and floral ,added a 

band to look like its holding every-

thing together . Added 

a flower, butterfly, button or bow.

On the white piece of the 

inside you can put a verse or any-

thing you'd like to say to 

the recipient of the card . For Ideas,

A friend of mine wanted to use 

them for "Thank You"Cards

and "Birthday"..

Recipes

"Venison Meatballs"

Are you hungry yet?
I am not, I just got done with my
breakfast ,so it'll be a few
 more hours till I eat again .But that
is one of more favorite things
to do  ..EAT!
I like to cook and bake ,especially if
I have the time .
And these meatballs can be used in
many different ways .
just to name a few ,              
         An Appetizer ,
       With Spaghetti,
                      With Brown Sugar Sauce

STEP 1:  Mix            2 pounds ground venison
                                1 pound ground sausage
     2-Eggs
                 1/2 cup of milk
                           1/2 Cup of quick oats
              Black Pepper ,Salt ,Season salt to taste
Mix Well ,Form into balls ,
put on cookie sheet and bake for about 20 minutes.
Then put in crock pot by layers with
 Brown sugar sauce between layers of meat .
Sauce:     Ketchup        
                   Brown sugar
                              Tablespoon Mustard
                               Worcestershire Sauce
                      Bar B Q sauce
                                    a little splash of vinegar
I have no recipe or amount of each item .I guess and
taste than add whatever
 I think it still needs .
I dont have a picture of the sause ,One thing
I know these were delicious !
Wonder what you call that? is it a
 good cook?

Answer; I am not that good a cook 

I enjoy taking my roll as a wife .And part of that 

is cooking.

Working diligently with my hands .

Crafts

"Craft Time"

I am sorry its been awhile since I posted 

anything .I was busy over the holidays so I guess if 

you were all patiently waiting I will share with

 you some of the things I was doing .First was our annual 

Christmas Banquet at Church . And here are a few 

of the Decorations .  "Log & Poinsettia themed"

Bulletin Board 

Used Tinfoil for my silver background,black lettering,

quilt batting for the snow, which I used spray on glue to hold it .

Added gold & silver tinsel around sides & top.

I found horn decor at a garage sale..

Yeah!!! for garage sales .Then I used a bouquet 

of silk poinsettias to kind of help bring a pop of color to 

the board .

" Cozy Fireplace "

Thanks to my husband to help me with this Big piece.

My backdrop is a 4' X 10' piece.

 of plywood covered with linoleum flooring 

that had the gray tones & stone shapes in it.

Borrowed all of my log decor from a furniture

store in town ..

 I had a working fireplace,

a mama & baby rocker ...

How cute is that ?

Also had music notes in black and white on the walls 

just as a fill in with the gold bells with holly & bow.

"Punch Table"

This was very simple yet it took a little bit of time. 

6' Table with white table paper 

and red Skirting .

Had 8' of greenery garland with twinkle 

lights in it .added 3-different 

size candle set off to one side .

The drink was red (cherry flavored) so that also gave

 more color for table top.

I guess the picture speaks for itself.

Found some very nice plates 

that matched my theme , they looked like 

they had stone & marble in them .

Clear Cups,red napkins with 

Merry Christmas 

Red burlap table runner accented 

with rustic log candle 

holders and small poinsettia plants . 

"Dessert Table "

2-8' tables with white table paper and 

red skirting ,with lots of silver 

star sprinkles ,2-small pine trees on 

each corner with twinkle lights along the back .

Best was yet to be .....

Sweet Treats !

It is all worth the time and effort 

that gets put into something 

like this ,behind the scene .........

"My Bay Window"

Very simple ...

Recipes

"CHICKEN ENCHILADAS"

Deliciously Simple !!!

Heat together:    8-oz. sour cream

                 8-oz. Milk

                              3-oz. cream cheese

                                    1-can cream of chicken

3-cups-Chicken Breast,cubed and browned

        2-Cups Cheddar cheese     

Pour half of soup mixture into a 9 X 13 

baking dish. 

                         Get flour tortillas and top with :                            

                        Cheddar Cheese

              Chicken  

                                Bell Peppers (sliced)

Roll up tortillas and place in baking dish ,

Tortillas,Cheddar Cheese,peppers 

All Ingredients 

Roll up tortillas and place in baking dish ,

Then top with rest of soup mixture 

and top with 2-cups Cheddar cheese 

Bake @ 350 for 30 to 45 minutes .

Serve with : Lettuce

                               Tomato (diced)

                 Salsa 

Once all done ,before serving top 

with Chives.

"Triple Fold Card"

Happy Birthday To You!

I made this card for a friend of mine,

It is a 4" x 12" piece of card stock 

folded 3 ways .Each end folded towards 

each other at 4" .Than fold corners back ,One right 

hand bottom, and the other, left hand top corner.

I added floral card stock to add more contrast to the card .

In the center I cut a 3 3/4" square and added brads 

for the embellishments .

Now Cut about a 2 3/4" Square and layered with

 a piece of white with the saying I thought  

would be best to have on front ,I used ,

"so glad we're friends"

And used a corner filler stamp 

and added the Lady Bug sticker .

Made a frame to layer over the white 

and used pop-ups to give it some depth.

Then fold the card back to the 

shape its supposed to be and tied the ribbon 

in a bow ....Wrote my own verse on 

the inside 

This card could be done in any color variation ..
